About Offerat
Offerat exists because coupon sites have trained everyone to expect disappointment. You search for a code, click through three pop-ups, copy something labelled "working today", and watch the checkout reject it. The date was fake, the code was scraped from another site that scraped it from a third, and nobody anywhere had actually tried it.
We run Offerat differently, and the difference fits in one sentence: no code goes on this site until a person has watched it change the total of a real order.
The method
Every code is tested in a real cart on the store's live checkout. The date of that test is printed on the card — not "verified today" as a permanent decoration, but an actual date that gets older until we re-test. Codes are re-checked on a rolling schedule, and anything that fails is removed the same day. A shorter honest list beats a longer broken one.
How the site makes money
Two ways, both disclosed. First, affiliate commissions: when you buy after clicking one of our links, the store may pay us a percentage. This never affects whether a code gets listed or where it ranks — a dead code with a great commission is still a dead code. Second, paid placements: stores pay to be added to our catalogue, and we say so on the List your store page rather than pretending they arrived by editorial magic.
Why the Gulf, why these stores
We are based in the UAE and we shop where you shop. That is why the catalogue is short: Noon — the store we cover most deeply — plus Namshi, Kofah, Luxy Hijab and Cloudways. Each was chosen because we could verify its offers first-hand, in this market, in both of this market's languages. The Arabic on this site is written by Arabic speakers, not run through a translator after the fact.
Talk to us
A dead code is a bug report and we treat it like one. Write to hello@offerat.ae or use the contact form — most messages get a reply within one working day.
